Identity, verified twice
Every member matches their 11-digit NIN to their legal name, then uploads a government-issued ID (driver’s licence, international passport, voter’s card or NIN slip). The verified badge you see means both checks passed.
Your NIN is never shown
Identity numbers are encrypted at rest and used only for the verification check. No member — and no matchmaker conversation — ever displays them.
Sensitive answers stay sealed
Health information like HIV status or genotype is optional, encrypted, and used only to match you thoughtfully. It never appears on your profile and is never disclosed to a match.
Nobody uninvited can reach you
There are no open DMs on Lifepin. A chat only exists after a mutual yes — you choose every single person who can talk to you.
Moderation with teeth
AI screening plus human review watch for scam patterns, money requests and abusive behaviour. Verified identity means bad actors are accountable — and removable.
NDPR compliant
Your data is processed under Nigeria’s data protection regulation. You can export or delete your account and data at any time.
