Lifepin is a community for people looking to build meaningful relationships.
We want everyone here to feel safe, respected and comfortable being themselves. These guidelines explain the standards we expect from everyone using Lifepin.
By using Lifepin, you agree to follow these guidelines both in how you present yourself and how you interact with others.
Be yourself
Use Lifepin as yourself — not as someone else.
Your profile should contain honest information about who you are. Do not:
- impersonate another person;
- create fake or misleading profiles;
- deliberately misrepresent your age, identity or relationship status;
- use another person’s photographs as your own; or
- create multiple accounts to deceive others or avoid a restriction or ban.
Authenticity helps everyone make better-informed decisions about who they want to meet.
Treat people with respect
You don’t have to be interested in everyone you meet, but you do have to treat people respectfully.
Do not:
- insult, humiliate or threaten another user;
- repeatedly contact someone who has made it clear they are not interested;
- stalk or intimidate another person;
- use degrading or abusive language;
- deliberately shame someone because they don’t meet your preferences; or
- encourage others to target or harass another user.
Having preferences is okay. Disrespecting people because they don’t fit them isn’t.
Respect boundaries & consent
Everyone has the right to decide what they are comfortable with.
Do not pressure another user into:
- sexual conversations;
- sharing intimate photographs or videos;
- meeting in person;
- giving you their phone number or personal information;
- entering a relationship;
- providing money or financial assistance; or
- doing anything they have already declined.
If someone says no, respect it.
Keep sexual content appropriate
Lifepin is designed for meaningful relationships, not the distribution of explicit sexual content.
Do not post or send:
- pornography;
- unsolicited nude or sexually explicit images;
- sexually explicit content intended to harass or shock someone; or
- intimate images of another person without their consent.
Private conversations should still respect the boundaries and consent of everyone involved.
No scams or financial exploitation
Do not use Lifepin to deceive or financially exploit another person.
This includes:
- romance scams;
- investment or cryptocurrency scams;
- fraudulent emergencies;
- requesting money under false pretences;
- phishing;
- requesting banking credentials, passwords or verification codes;
- impersonating businesses or organisations; or
- attempting to obtain another person’s financial information dishonestly.
Be cautious if someone you meet online asks you for money, particularly before you have established a genuine relationship.
No commercial solicitation
Lifepin is for relationships, not unsolicited business promotion.
Do not use your account primarily to:
- advertise products or services;
- recruit customers;
- promote businesses;
- distribute spam;
- recruit people into investment schemes or network-marketing programmes; or
- redirect users to unrelated commercial platforms.
Protect people’s privacy
Information someone shares with you does not automatically become yours to share with others.
Do not:
- publish another user’s private conversations without a legitimate reason;
- share someone’s personal information without permission;
- distribute another user’s photographs for unauthorised purposes;
- threaten to expose someone’s personal information;
- attempt to discover private information through hacking or deception; or
- misuse information obtained through Lifepin.
Never share another person’s intimate images or videos without their consent.
No hate or discrimination
Lifepin brings together people from different backgrounds, beliefs and life experiences.
Do not promote hatred, violence or dehumanising treatment of another person or group based on characteristics such as ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, disability or other characteristics protected by applicable law.
You are free to have personal preferences when choosing a partner. Those preferences must not be used as an excuse to abuse or degrade others.
No violence or dangerous behaviour
Do not:
- threaten physical harm;
- encourage violence;
- glorify serious acts of violence in a manner that threatens others;
- use Lifepin to organise violent or criminal activity; or
- threaten another person’s safety.
Where we reasonably believe someone may be in immediate danger, we may take appropriate action consistent with our Terms, Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Adults only
Lifepin is only for people between the ages of 22 and 70.
If you are 21 or younger, you may not create or maintain a Lifepin account.
If you are 71 or older, you are not eligible to create or maintain an account.
Never use Lifepin to sexually exploit, groom or otherwise harm a minor.
Any sexual content involving a minor is strictly prohibited and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Use genuine photos
Your profile photos should accurately represent you.
Do not:
- use someone else’s photograph as your own;
- deliberately impersonate another person;
- use misleading images intended to deceive other users about your identity; or
- upload images that violate another person’s rights.
Reasonable editing is fine, but your profile should still genuinely represent you.
Don’t manipulate Lifepin
Do not attempt to interfere with how Lifepin operates.
This includes:
- bots or automated accounts;
- scraping profiles or user information;
- manipulating matches or recommendations;
- attempting to bypass verification;
- creating replacement accounts after being banned;
- hacking or attempting unauthorised access; or
- introducing malware or other harmful technology.
Meeting someone in person
Lifepin can help make an introduction, but you are responsible for deciding when and whether to meet another person.
When meeting someone for the first time:
- choose a public place;
- tell someone you trust where you’re going;
- arrange your own transportation where possible;
- avoid sharing sensitive financial information;
- keep control of your food and drinks; and
- leave if something doesn’t feel right.
Take the time you need. No genuine connection requires you to ignore your boundaries.
Report something that doesn’t feel right
If someone violates these guidelines, you can use Lifepin’s Block & Report features.
Depending on the circumstances, we may review reported accounts or content and take action including:
- warnings;
- content removal;
- restrictions;
- additional verification;
- temporary suspension; or
- permanent account removal.
Serious safety concerns or unlawful activity may also be referred to the appropriate authorities where necessary or required by law.
Reports should be made honestly. Deliberately submitting false or malicious reports may itself violate these guidelines.
One community, shared responsibility
A safer community depends on everyone.
Be honest about who you are. Respect people’s boundaries. Protect other people’s privacy. Communicate with kindness, and give others the same dignity you expect for yourself.
Come as yourself. Treat people well. Let genuine connections grow.
